A24 has secured the U.S. distribution rights for the upcoming film Queer, directed by Luca Guadagnino and starring Daniel Craig. The film, based on the novel by William S. Burroughs, is set in 1950s Mexico City and explores the life of William Lee, an American expat who forms a meaningful connection with a young student, Eugene Allerton. The movie is set to premiere at the Venice Film Festival on September 3rd, 2024.
